Heroes Teenagers

Maybe it's because I'm a mom of teenagers, but are the adolescents on Heroes incredibly annoying or what? I was so happy with the episode last week, it was Claire Free. How many time have I just wanted to smack her upside the head? Countless. And that kid hanging around with Sylar, if I was Sylar I would have cut his brain out long ago. I'm not sure why I watch this show anymore. This week we had Matt and Peter giving commanding stares at military personal because they could both control peoples minds, it looked silly. I have to say I was right at the beginning of the season, Heroes is turning into The 4400.

Ohio Connections

Maybe I watch too much TV to write about TV? Let's see......... Monday there's House, 24 and Heroes. Tuesday I watch NCIS and Fringe. Fringe is currently on hiatus, thank God I don't know what the hell's going on on that show. Wednesday, well Wednesday is "holy hour" LOST night. Thursdays Survivor is back on and The Office too. Nothing is ever on Friday's and Saturday's and Sunday I started watching The Amazing Race even though I said I wouldn't. I haven't seen American Idol yet and I don't know what the hell I'm going to do when Dancing With the Stars starts up again in March.
On the last episode of Survivor they voted Candace off, it was only afterward that I found out she was from Ohio, bummer. I'm surprised they voted her and her big boobs off. And we found out that Taj is married to Eddie George, an famous Ohio State football player. I don't know who Eddie George is but the husband does, huh. Oh and there is a couple from Ohio on The Amazing Race. Go Ohio! I will make a concentrated effort to start posting about these crazy shows and the Ohio connections.

Heroes/The 4400

I use to watch the kookamonga show The 4400. It started off promising. 4400 people dropped off in a big ball of light in a field, all missing from different time periods and all having strange "abilities". Huh. As the season continued new abilities conveniently popped up when need to complete an episode. Huh. And then a synthetic abilities drug was made to give the normal people abilities. And this guy was one of the normal people that signed up to take the abilities drug.
On Heroes Monday there was a volunteer soldier willing to take the genetically altered drug that is suppose to give people "hero powers'. Huh. It's the same freakin guy. But with shorter hair.
I've been watching Heroes this season thinking this is turning into The 4400. I think my theory has been proven right. Who's with me on the train wreck? I will continue to watch and then bash it on this blog.

Heroes ...... Huh?

Did Heroes have a hard to follow start this season or is it just me? I watched the last episode last year, but I'm confused. Nikki, she's dead then? I was happy to find out that there isn't a secret clone army of Nikki's on the planet Kamino being developed, just triplettes. Nathan and Peter are Sylar's brothers, all offspring of the creepy Angela Petrelli aka Mommy Dearest? Mohinder is turning into The Fly? He can totally pull that off though. Matt has been teleported to a desert, where he meets some kind of Guru with Guru goop that he eats to see the future?
Can you tell I'm not even trying with this show. I refuse to get sucked into message boards with theories out the wazoo. It happened to me with LOST but not again. If I can't figure out what's going on just by watching every week, instead of joining message boards, playing online games, reading a damn comic book and searching for spoilers then I'm done. Done I tell you!

Writer's Strike Over

While searching for Heroes information, like when the hell it will be back on, I found a link telling us the writer's strike is over. And here is a little information on the fate of some of our favorite television shows. It doesn't appear we will be seeing Heroes any time soon. I know that Lost has already started filming, there will be more that 8 episodes this season. Enough searching for information today. This blog is due for a re-vamp and I plan on screwing around with it today, I need it to be 3 columns. Hopefully all goes well and I don't end up crying.

Non-Repeat Television Looming in the Distance

I'm working on finding out when my favorite TV shows that I blog about are coming back with new episodes. You'd think they would plaster the information on the front page of their websites.

My Name is Earl is starting back January 10, 2008 at 8:00 pm. I've hardly watched it this year but at least I was able to find the return date.

The Office's site is telling me December 27, 2007. Doh! I guess they need to update.

Maybe I should try the TV Guide site.

Heroes is not airing in the next 14 days.

Survivor is starting Thursday, February 8, 2008. With one team consisting of past Survivors and I'm disappointed to find out that Jonny Fairplay is back, he makes me want to take a shower. He's just skeevy.

Then I can watch LOST after Survivor. LOST will start on January 31, 2008 at 9:00 pm and has been moved from Wednesday to Thursday. I'm not happy about that either.

American Idol will be starting on Tuesday, January 15 at 8:00 pm. The husband will actually watch the beginning with me because he likes to laugh at losers that think they can sing. I end up crying for some of them, we can never agree about TV.

I don't know when House is coming back, it conflicts with American Idol, they're on the same network and I can't remember what they did last year.

Happy Hero Thoughts Until January

Heroes Review:

How many times have we seen someone die on this show and then brought back to life? So Niki and Nathan fans hang on to that until January. Or you can search the forums for spoilers like I am later today. If anyone has a spoiler, feel free to leave me a comment and a source. But my gut tells me those two are done. I can think of a few other characters I would rather have gone instead, like most of the new ones except Adam, but that's me, oh and Hiro annoys me, there I said it.

Speaking of Adam, Hiro put him in a coffin! Yeah, in a graveyard, buried and alive. That time-travel super hero power is really starting to work for Hiro.

HRG makes a deal with, uh, the Company? The secret organization that has it's members being killed by Adam, has deadly viruses that can kill the entire populace of the world stored in Texas, keeps heroes with super powers locked up to do experiments on them or just kill them, you know that company. So HRG makes a deal with the Company, for them to leave his family alone and he will remain with the Company. HRG goes home to freak out his family, because he's one of the back from the dead people. Claire loves him again, teenagers.

Mohinder gets back to his secret underground apartment were Sylar and gullible Maya are waiting for him. Maya is making breakfast! She finally catches on that Sylar is an evil-doer, wait she doesn't catch on. Mohinder has to spell it out for her, she was un-able to catch on even by Mohinders obvious fear of Sylar. She starts with her black killing tears and this is what eventually wakes the slumbering Molly. Sylar shoots Maya, thank you, but she becomes another one of the back from the dead people. Mohinder has two shots of the indestructible cheerleader, virus killing serum. He was taking it to Niki before Sylar called him, but Niki blew up in a building, she won't be needing it. While Mohinder is giving the shot to Maya, satisfying Sylar, that it isn't poison, the electric chick, Elle shows up. She's trying to catch Sylar for daddy, but she screws it up and he gets away with the shot. Sylar will be cutting out brains again in no time.

Nathan, Peter and Matt decide it's time to go public. Nathan's idea, he wants to tell everyone that he can fly. Matt is there on one side of Nathan using his hero super power mind convincing thingy. And Peter, is on the other side of Nathan. It's a good thing too because someone had to catch him when he fell from the 3 gunshots to his chest.

Is Maya That Stupid?

Heroes Review:

I had a rough week. My husband and I were both sick and I didn't watch Heroes until Tuesday afternoon. Then I forgot to blog about it. Let's see if I remember anything that happened.

Oh the Mexican twins and Sylar where in this episode. Sylar killed the brother, not by cutting out his brain, just by stabbing him. I don't think he can cut out brains anymore. Or that's what he needs Mohinder for. So Sylar tells the Mexican twin girl, Maya to get control of her abilities so she doesn't need her brother anymore, cuz she's draggin him down. He'd be much better off alone in a foreign country not being able to speak English or better off alone in Mexico where he is wanted for murder. Maya gains control of her abilities and tells her brother to hit the road. That whole scenario is so believable isn't it? Or the writer's, that are on strike now, think we are incredibly stupid. This story line is really annoying me. Now Sylar and Maya are calling Mohinder from Mohinder's very own secret apartment. Sylar tells him he needs to get home now, he's relieved the babysitter and Molly is fine for now. Mohinder and Matt are doing such a great job taking care of Molly aren't they?
